“I loved the 2020 Gigondas, and readers should snatch up this gem. A blend of equal parts Syrah and Grenache, it has a pure, Provençal, complex style as well as terrific notes of red and black fruits, sandalwood, garrigue, and pepper. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, with ripe tannins and terrific balance, it’s already hard to resist, yet I see no reason it won’t drink brilliantly for 15 years.”
