“Black cherries, peppery herbs, graphite, and some earthy, mineral, subtly meaty notes all emerge from the 2022 Gigondas, a medium-bodied, nicely balanced, structured 2022 that will need a few years of bottle age. The 2022 is equal parts Grenache and Syrah that was destemmed and brought up all in tank.”
